Blimey, well I ended up leaving at the end of the 2nd year - thats nearly 18 years ago!!!!! - The more amazing thing being how well I remember names and faces on this website - what a brilliant idea!! Although you may not remember me - I hung out with Catherine Ingram, Kirsten, Cheryl Smith - called Mrs Betteridge a dumb mute, loved making "Mamzelle"charge up the corridor after lights out(who didnt?!) and was terrified of Miss Wheelbarrow (genuinely am not sure if that was her real name or if it was something close!!) - anyway, I left after the end of the 2nd year and can't get over how time flies!

So I messed around for a few years, hated the school I moved on to, but in my 20s took off and worked for an organisation in Amsterdam working with homeless people, prostitutes and drug addicts.

In 1997 I moved back to England and started heading towards the West End as that was what I had always wanted but kept getting distracted by a million other things - so, of course, I am still not doing that and to be honest, am far too unfit and old now to be strutting my stuff on the boards, although I like to think I might step into a role one day!

I did however end up Hosting a Breakfast show for BBC Radio in the Southern Counties of England (south London down to the coast) for a few years and at the moment, you are more than likely to come across me jabbering merrily along on QVC The Shopping Channel - if you have Sky TV. I traded in my dark lank hairstyle from school days to a rather short style cut by my nail scissors - and bright copper shade of non subtelty! I am also still singing - its all a bit of a juggling act really, sometimes more Radio than Singing, sometimes more Singing than TV - it just depends on whats out there at the end of the day!

The most wonderful thing is my Husband Bret. He is a musician from Canada who I met in Amsterdam in 1996. We married in 2000 in Toronto after a long distance and dreadfully tumultuous relationship - what do you expect with snail mail in those days!!! We now live in West London; still renting cos we missed the rung of the ladder and the market is far too crazy and estate agents far too dishonest to deal with right now!!

So so good to see names I recognise, its been really cool to catch up with Zanna recently and I really hope to hear from more of you soon.

We really should do some kind of reunion!!

xx
